STACEY Solomon asked Molly-Mae Hague for advice after admitting a beauty blunder left her “looking like Miss Trunchbull”.
She wanted to copy Molly-Mae’s hairstyle and try out a slick mum-bun, but she hated the results.
Stacey, 33, said: “I thought I’d scrape my hair back into a bun today because I keep seeing people doing it and it looks beautiful. I see Molly-Mae do it and she looks beautiful.
“I call it ‘newborn fresh‘ scrape your hair back, chuck it in a bun and you look really pretty and natural and it pulls all your face back.”
Stacey, who gave birth to her fifth child, Belle, earlier this year, shared the results of her attempts at the relaxed but glam hairstyle – and made viewers giggle by pulling goofy faces.
She went on: “Why when I do it do I look like Miss Trunchbull. Why, why? Why don’t I look newborn fresh like Molly? I look like I’m going to shove my newborn into the chokey!”

Stacey also penned over the top of her photos: “Can you send me a newborn slick back hair tutorial please @mollymae.
“Can someone please tell me why I can’t pull this off? Why do I look like I’m going to chuck Belle into the chokey?”
Agatha Trunchbull is a fictional but terrifying headteacher who punishes children.
The chokey is a small closet covered in glass and rusty nails and is used by Miss Trunchbull in Roald Dahl’s story Matilda to torture school children.
Stacey has been making an effort to feel her best since giving birth after admitting she hadn’t washed her hair in two weeks.
But she was forced to hit over the weekend after being slammed for wearing long nails.
“Very impractical nails for a newborn,” said her follower.
Refusing to let it slide, Stacey shared the message and wrote: “Have a day off Wilma. it’ll be OK I promise.”
She also posted a video of her cuddling baby Belle, telling the troll directly: “Well I think they’re really practical.
“They’re great for tickles and head strokes. Belle is loving them.”
Sticking up one of her fingers, Stacey said: “This one is really good for picking out bogies.
“Will I end up with poo underneath them everyday? Probably, but I’ve got a nail brush and wash my hands. It’ll be fine.”
